Henderson Franklin Welcomes Attorney David Hughes to Tort and Insurance Defense Team

Fort Myers, FL, October 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney David Hughes has joined the firm as an associate in the Tort & Insurance Litigation division and will be based out of the firm’s Fort Myers office.

Prior to graduating with honors from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, Hughes was the Vice President of the Florida Moot Court Team and Executive Research Editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy. He was a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) with the Alachua County Public Defender’s Office and represented several clients in all phases of criminal litigation including five jury trials and numerous appeals.

Prior to law school, Hughes served as a reading and grammar teacher in a public school in a low-income community along the Texas-Mexico border with Teach for America. He also taught ESOL in public schools in Florida and taught business English in Prague, Czech Republic.
