Carlsbad, CA, October 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- LaunchPoint, Inc., a product design and development services firm, is expanding its facilities to a larger location in Carlsbad, CA. In addition, LaunchPoint is changing its name to MindFlow Design, Inc.
LaunchPoint is changing its name to MindFlow Design yet will continue to provide innovative new product design and product development services to the medical device and life sciences industries, as well as to specialty consumer product manufacturers, in the San Diego region.
At a time when the economy is hurting many local businesses, MindFlow Design is growing. The company grew 40% in 2010 from 2009 and has doubled its staff.
MindFlow Design's new Carlsbad facility fulfills a need for twice the space in order to accommodate the growing needs of its clients. Andy Moulds, one of MindFlow Design's two principals, explains: “The physical space in which creative designers and engineers work is critical to creating breakthrough products, so our new space will be a very energizing place to work that will include a concept studio, computer design office, and a prototype manufacturing garage.”
An Open House to showcase the new facility is slated for Thursday, December 8.
