Dawn Enterprises Provides Concrete Bollards for Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point

Manchester, CT, October 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dawn Enterprises, leading manufacturer of concrete outdoor site furnishings, recently supplied concrete bollards to the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock, NC. The custom 8” diameter concrete bollards (BOC8R) were installed in a concrete footing for maximum impact resistance. These concrete bollards will act as perimeter security barriers in the order to ensure the safety and security of those on base.

Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point or MCAS Cherry Point is a United States Marine Corps airfield located in Havelock, North Carolina, in the eastern part of the state. It was built in 1941, commissioned in 1942 and is currently home to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
