Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration Earns #9 Spot in Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine’s Annual Entrepreneurship Rankings
Newest Ranking Adds to Impressive List of Accolades.
Boston, MA, October 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration (CBA) today announced that it was ranked #9 in the “Top 25 U.S. entrepreneurship colleges and universities” published by the Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. CBA was selected from among 2,000 schools and moved up to #9 from #14 in 2010.
“Entrepreneurial thinking is valued by every CEO running a company, large or small,” said Acting Dean, Harry Lane. “Together, our experienced faculty, staff and corporate partners are dedicated to developing the next generation of business leaders by fostering a culture of entrepreneurship. It is this culture that consistently puts our student entrepreneurs on the path to develop and cultivate innovative start-ups and innovation within companies.”
In testament to this ranking, Northeastern’s Entrepreneur’s Club was recently ranked #6 out of twenty in the world by FledgeWing, an online network that provides aspiring student-entrepreneurs with the tools to develop, build and launch innovative companies. Northeastern’s club is entirely student-run with a mission to enable entrepreneurs from across campus and from diverse majors to pursue their goals by providing valuable resources and communal support in a fun and engaging way.
These accolades follow on the heels of several other awards earned this year, including:
CBA was ranked #1 for the sixth year in a row for internships in Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of the top U.S. Undergraduate Business programs. The undergraduate program was also ranked #38 overall in the Best Undergraduate Business Schools in 2011 by Bloomberg Businessweek.
The College’s Executive MBA program was ranked in the top 50 EMBA programs in the U.S. by Bloomberg Businessweek.
CBA’s Full-Time MBA program was ranked #56 in the U.S. by Bloomberg Businessweek and #56 in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report
