Two Men from Upstate to Represent NY in a Week Long Rally Race from Seattle to Vegas
East Coast Hot Rod founder and President to lead the charge to the world’s largest automotive trade show.
Wayne County, NY, October 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Start your engines. The race starts on October 26 in Seattle, WA and will lead the teams through a course of diverse challenges over 6 days culminating in a wild finish at the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas where one lucky team will win a limited edition Mopar 2011 Charger. According to the race organizers, the event is a “mix of track racing, scavenger hunting and rally driving leading teams on a cross-country mission.”
East Coast Hot Rod has decided that this race is the perfect venue to introduce the hot rod enthusiasts around the country to this new company. “The East Coast has been dramatically under-represented at the national level as compared to the west when it comes to highlighting the talent and innovation of local businesses and dedicated hobbyists in our field,” said East Coast Hot Rod President and Williamson resident John Fox. Fox says that he wants to level the playing field and make it clear that the East Coast has a lot to offer.
The fact that the other teams are made up of professional racers and industry insiders from across the country does not seem to discourage these regular guys from upstate New York. “We plan to give it everything we have!” says Alan Hester, who is Fox’s partner from Webster.
The Discovery Channel’s HD Theater will televise the race and live coverage is available on the web. There is more information about the race available on the website: www.theamericaadventure.com.
