Invisco Whole House Fan Company Announces 760 mm (30 inch) 13,600 CMH (8000 CFM) Product for Australia and New Zealand
Invisco, the leading supplier of whole house fans for the US, is introducing the most powerful 760 mm fan yet offered for Australia and New Zealand. At 13,600 cubic meters per hour (CMH) this fan moves more air with a smaller hole in the ceiling than any other yet available. Invisco has achieved this operating breakthrough by using advanced design and test techniques.
Melbourne, Australia, October 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Invisco Whole House Fan Company has been selling systems in the US for half a decade. After announcing 24 new models of whole house fans for the US market, Invisco embarked on a program to duplicate those systems for Australia and New Zealand.
One product that has been missing in Australia is a 760 mm (30 inch) fan capable of more than 6000 CFM or 10,200 CMH. Invisco's engineers have fine tuned fan blades and motors to maximize air flow with their 760 mm diameter fan blade.
Invisco mounts this blade on an economical motor that has exactly the power needed to move that air flow. The motors used by Invisco for Australia are all approved for use there. Note also that all of Invisco's whole house fans are direct drive, not belt driven, so they are the most reliable and most quiet systems available.
Australia has stringent requirements for approval of the motors used in home systems there. Those requirements include the need for higher voltage operation than in the US. AND the Australian government has a qualification process that makes it very difficult for US companies to enter that market.
Invisco has solved that problem and now offers Australia approved 240 VAC motors with every whole house fan.
Unlike the US measuring system of inches and feet, Australia uses the metric system of millimeters and meters. So in the US whole house fans are rated in cubic feet of air moving in one minute (CFM).
