The Rare Collections Joins the Austin Record Convention October 21-23, 2011
Austin, TX, October 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Rare Collections will exhibit a collection of vintage record albums, posters, memorabilia, fine art rock photography and other rare collectibles for sale at the Austin Record Convention at North Austin Event Center (formerly Crocket Center) located at 10601 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin, TX 78753.
The Austin Record Convention is the largest sale of recorded music in the USA. The show features music and related memorabilia ranging from the 78's of the 1930s to the latest compact discs of today with over one million 78s, 45s, LPs, CDs, cassettes, posters and collectibles. Over 300 dealers from all over the USA and Europe showcase their collections in the more than 50,000 square foot convention.
The event provides visitors the opportunity to see some of the most rare and interesting records and music collectibles in the world. Regular admission is $5.00 for both Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Early Shopper Admission is $25.00 and is good for all three days Friday October 21 10am to 6pm, Saturday October 22, 8am to 6pm and Sunday October 23 10am to 5pm.
“In addition to showcasing some of our vintage collection of rock albums and posters, we will also feature some hand-written poetry from Jim Morrison of the Doors, Fine Art Rock Photography from Neil Zlozower and Ron Raffaelli, as well as our 1970’s - 1980’s Tour Guitar Picks & T-shirts Collection,” said Andrew Kirby, Executive Producer of The RARE Collections.
