2011 Corks and Collars Wine and Beer Tasting Fundraiser – October 29, 2011
Event benefits Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue for the rehoming, medical care and rehabilitation of rescued Labrador Retrievers in Arizona.
Scottsdale, AZ, October 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Armitage Bistro in DC Ranch will host the 2011 Corks and Collars Wine and Beer Tasting fundraiser on October 29, 2011 from 3 PM to 6 PM. All proceeds from the afternoon will go directly to Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue (DLRR) for the rehoming, medical care and rehabilitation of rescued Labrador Retrievers in Arizona.
Guests will sample an array of fine wines and New Belgium beer, and bid on wonderful items from the silent auction including a Rombauer VIP Package (stay, tour and tasting at Rombauer Vineyards in St. Helena, CA), rare cases of wine (unavailable commercially and limited to either five or ten case lots), New Belgium Fat Tire Cruiser bicycle, Par Exsalonce at DC Ranch Market Street spa package, Lazy Dog Ranch (2011 Travel & Outdoors azcentral.com Critic's Pick as Best Out-of-Town Dog-Friendly lodging), hot air balloon rides, wine tastings at several Arizona wineries and much more.
“DLRR operates solely on the generosity of our volunteers and individual donors,” says Michele Hanigsberg, Vice President of DLRR. “In 2010 our veterinary costs exceeded $95,000 and charitable donations from an event like this are very important to keep our rescue open.”
