Longmont, CO, October 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Chinese Medicine Clinic will have its Grand Opening on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited to come and enjoy free refreshments, explore the clinic, and visit with the practitioners.

“The Chinese Medicine Clinic will be a general practice, but with a broad range of specialties. In other words, anyone is welcome,” says Hadyn Peacock, L.Ac. “The clinic originated from the motivation of offering the public an integrated range of affordable Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services devoted to promoting well-being for all,” says Christine Dominick, the clinic’s co-owner.

“We are dedicated to helping our clients cultivate wellness and reduce the necessity of treating sickness,” says Peacock. “TCM cannot only be used to treat acute and chronic heath conditions, it can also be used as preventative medicine.” Patients will be able to come in for herbs and acupuncture to protect themselves from diseases, such as those associated with the change of seasons. “And they will be able to take Tai Chi or Qigong classes to strengthen their immunity and learn how to practice wellness at home,” says M.W. Caudron, instructor and medical Qigong practitioner.

Unique to this clinic is the wide array of integrated TCM services it will offer. “Having acupuncture, herbs, Medical Qigong, and classes all under one roof is a huge advantage for our clients,” says Peacock. “It will allow clients to select the services they are most comfortable with, and enable us to design more effective treatment plans uniquely suited to their health concerns and budget.”

The clinic will be offering both private and community acupuncture. “Private acupuncture is well-suited for those with complex conditions that may require longer treatments time or other methods such as Tui Na (body work), cupping, or heat therapy,” says Peacock. And if these clients require frequent treatments over a shorter period of time they can then take advantage of lower cost community acupuncture. “Our Community Room, with its four comfortable recliners, will also offer low-cost care for those who couldn’t otherwise afford private acupuncture,” says Dominick.

“We will also be offering community Medical Qigong, a unique treatment method that doesn’t use needles,” says Caudron. “And for those clients who have not felt relief from any other methods, private Medical Qigong will be available based on internal referral.”

“It is very important that our services are as affordable as possible so everyone can benefit,” says Peacock. “For example, community acupuncture will be on a sliding scale of $25 to $40, so clients can pay what they can afford.” To keep client costs down, the clinic will be accepting health insurance for private acupuncture, offering reduced rates on these treatments when insurance doesn’t cover them; and provide a Super Bill for clients with FSA or HSA benefits with their employer.

“With the wide range of integrated TCM services and classes available at the clinic, the Longmont community will have a new opportunity to cultivate well-being,” says Peacock.

The Chinese Medicine Clinic is board certified and fully-licensed, conveniently located at 385 Main Street, in downtown Longmont.
