Scarecrow Spectacular Benefiting Ventura County Charities

Thousand Oaks, CA, October 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Aviara Real Estate is currently hosting a family-friendly event: The 1st Annual Scarecrow Spectacular. Each scarecrow has been handcrafted by some of the area’s finest real estate professionals. They are on display for all to visit. Ventura County charities … including Manna, Women’s Resource Center, Hospice of the Conejo, Acres4Life, Habitat for Humanity, ASPCA Animal Rescue, Battered Women, For the Troops, Homeboy Industries, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Brittany Foundation and Rock and Rescue are just some of the non-profits being represented. Stop by to place your vote of confidence for your favorite scarecrows and charities. The offices will be open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00am through 5:00pm each day. Each voting ticket is $1. Donations will be given to the charity represented by the winning artists. Winning titles include, Best Overall, Most Hilarious, and Most Creative. Scarecrows will be on display through October 31, 2011.
