North Essex Chamber of Commerce Highlights "NYC Lights" at Its Third Annual Casino Night
Rhonda Rivera, co-founder of Top-Tier Tutoring, is the chairperson for this year's Casino Night, to be held Thursday, October 27th.
West Orange, NJ, October 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC or Chamber) is hosting its third annual Casino Night on Thursday, October 27, 2011, 6-10 pm, at Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, a Chamber member.
“Holding the Casino Night at the Highlawn Pavilion is very appropriate, given the venue’s rich history,” states Anthony Rainone, Esq., President of the Chamber. Indeed, it originally was called the “Highlawn Casino,” and is now 101 years old. Consistently named Essex County’s “Best Romantic Restaurant” for its fine dining and panoramic views of the New York City skyline, the Highlawn Pavilion is synonymous with excellence. Rainone continues, “We’re sure that everyone will enjoy the excellent food and atmosphere only this venue can offer. It is fitting that this year’s Casino Night theme is ‘NYC Lights.’”
Rhonda Rivera, the event’s chairperson, invites all members of the community to attend the event. “In keeping with this year’s theme, we are suggesting that all guests wear black and white business casual attire. The décor will reflect this color scheme as well, making it a sophisticated evening of gaming, dining and networking.”
The third annual event will allow guests to try their hands at craps, roulette, blackjack, the Big Wheel and Texas Hold ‘Em, all provided by Audience Pleasers of Garfield. Dealers will teach guests how to play the games prior to the actual casino “opening” at 6:30 pm. Two Fifths Crazy, the lead singer of which is a Chamber member, as well as a strolling magician from Audience Pleasers, will provide live entertainment.
Ticket prices for the event are only $75 and can be purchased on the Chamber’s website (www.NorthEssexChamber.com) or by calling the Chamber office at 973-226-5500. Included with every ticket is a starter kit of “play” money, a goody bag, a drink ticket, a fabulous meal and live entertainment. A cash bar also will be available. If a guest joins the Chamber that evening, an additional $100 in “play” money will be awarded. More information about NYC Lights Casino Night can be found on the Chamber’s website. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Chamber’s Scholarship Foundation and Susan G. Komen For The Cure® North Jersey Affiliate.
This evening is made possible by generous sponsors: Investors Bank, XCEL Federal Credit Union, TD Bank, Spencer Savings Bank, Brach Eichler L.L.C., Cloverleaf Tavern, Fortune Title Agency, Mountainside Hospital, Brick ‘N Mortar Marketing, Humphrey Law Firm, Lakeland Bank, Goodgold Law, LLC, Essex Fells Magazine, North Caldwell Magazine, Morris/Essex Health & Life Magazine, Minuteman Press of Newark, Product Identification Co., Inc. and Audience Pleasers.
