Hoover and Associates Hosted Shred Event
Royal Oak, MI, October 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Hoover and Associates Financial Services, Inc. hosted their second successful “Shred Event” on Saturday, October 8, 2011, from 10 am to 2 pm.
Guests were able to bring sensitive documents for shredding. Shred Corp, a mobile document shredding company was on site. The services were provided courtesy of Hoover and Associates Financial Services, Inc and Producers Choice. The event was a large success as individuals and businesses brought in over four thousand pounds of documents to be shredded.
Attorney Joseph McGill, from Foley, Baron & Metzger, was also present to answer any questions regarding trusts and wills, power of attorney, and estate planning. CPA Tom Collins, from Morris, Kalish & Walgren, was on hand to provide advice on which documents should be shredded and to answer any questions guests had regarding tax laws.
The event was open to customers and friends of Hoover and Associates and the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce. While participants were waiting for their documents to be shredded they enjoyed donuts, cider, caramel apples, freshly popped popcorn, coffee, and soft drinks.
Next year’s event will be held once again in early October. Hoover and Associates will host this event annually to offer their clients and guests the opportunity to safely dispose of their personal documents.
