Smartec Released Outdoor Security Camera with Zoom Lens, IR-Illuminator and 600/700 TVL
Smartec STC-3680 Day/Night analog video camera is equipped with a IP66 metal housing and can transmit high-quality images during outdoor operation with adverse temperature conditions.
Tallinn, Estonia, October 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- STC-3680 ULTIMATE is equipped with the latest Sony Super HAD II CCD and next-gen DSP-processor. It has a metal thermal housing with IP66 protection, 3.5-16 mm varifocal lens with IR-correction and AI, as well as built-in IR LEDs with up to 60 m of working distance. This configuration allows outdoor security camera to transmit clear images with 600/700 TVL resolution at up to 0.15/0.001 lux of minimum illumination (IR illumination OFF). In addition, outdoor camera features digital noise reduction, image stabilization and high light compensation, and also allows the operator to configure up to 8 zones of motion detection and set up to 8 private masking zones. New outdoor model requires 12 VDC or 24 VAC power supply sources.
For outdoor video surveillance STC-3680 ULTIMATE features IP66 metal housing with heater and fan, which ensures its stable operation at temperatures, ranging from -40°C to +50°C. For easy installation on-site outdoor security camera has a mounting bracket with concealed cable wiring. In addition, camera housing has a sliding cover, which can be used for lens adjustment and image settings configuration.
A distinctive feature of STC-3680 ULTIMATE is its built-in IR illuminator, featuring 70 high-performance IR LEDs. This solution allows the operator to use outdoor security camera during night-time operation without additional lighting. Herewith IR illuminator is activated synchronously with the camera Day/Night switching, ensuring 60 m of working distance. In addition, this outdoor model prevents spontaneous switching between modes during short-term changes in light condition. It also possible to configure camera switching delay time - from 5 to 60 seconds.
Sony Super HAD II CDD and next-gen DSP-processor provide high-quality images with high sensitivity, improved dynamic range and low noise level. Like all outdoor security cameras of this series, STC-3680 generates crisp Color and B/W images with 600/700 TVL resolution at up to 0.15/0.001 lux of minimum illumination (IR illumination OFF). Appropriate viewing sector can be set up by the adjustable varifocal lens with 3.5-16 mm focal length, auto iris and IR-correction. It also protects outdoor camera from defocusing when disabling IR cut filter.
STC-3680 features wide range of functions, which help to eliminate possible image distortion. To reduce noise component of the signal, security camera supports digital noise reduction (DNR) function, improving image quality and providing saving up to 70% of DVR disk space. In addition, outdoor security camera has digital image stabilization (DIS) to eliminate the jitter effect caused by the wind or other mechanical influences. Due to high light compensation (HLC), this outdoor model darkens the very bright areas of the frame, improving visibility of the adjacent areas of the image. This function is also useful for license plates detection during night-time operation.
To track objects in the monitoring area, STC-3680 ULTIMATE uses hardware motion detection. Depending on the tasks of video surveillance, it allows the operator to specify up to 8 detection areas for movement recording. Herewith outdoor security camera provides the ability to customize the size, position and sensitivity of the detector for each of them. In addition, this security camera provides 8 masking zones to protect local areas from viewing by the operator.
