FinancialForce Shortlisted for Best Software Package of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards
FinancialForce, the cloud applications company, today announced that FinancialForce Accounting has been shortlisted in the Software Package of the Year category at this year’s British Accountancy Awards.
San Mateo, CA, October 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- FinancialForce, the cloud applications company, today announced that FinancialForce Accounting has been shortlisted in the Software Package of the Year category at this year’s British Accountancy Awards.
These new awards succeed the long-standing Accountancy Age Awards and are run in partnership with ACCA, the global body for professional accountants. They promise a renewed focus on the profession, and a new panel of experts has helped to design more rigorous judging criteria to help recognise outstanding performance and innovation across the sector.
FinancialForce Accounting, delivered on Force.com, the world’s leading cloud computing platform from salesforce, was shortlisted based on criteria including innovation, measurable success and customer satisfaction. Winners will be announced at an awards evening in London on Wednesday 30th November.
FinancialForce launched in September 2009, backed with investment from UNIT4 and salesforce. This industry recognition comes on the back of a period of growth and success for FinancialForce, including being named in the Red Herring Top 100 North America in June, winning Best Cloud Offering in the EuroCloud UK awards and named a finalist at the coveted CODiE Awards in Business Software.
FinancialForce’s solutions, including FinancialForce Accounting and FinancialForce PSA, are used by organisations across 23 countries and continue to be particularly popular with those using Salesforce CRM, who want seamless connectivity between sales, billing, professional service and finance processes on a single cloud platform. In its third quarter results announcement, UNIT4 reported FinancialForce had increased its monthly run rate (September 2011 versus September 2010) by about 500%.
