Ribbon Cutting and Open House Celebration at Kobernick Anchin
The public is invited for wine and cheese, giveaways, and drawing for prizes.
Sarasota, FL, October 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kobernick Anchin, a retirement community, and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System are throwing a party on November 3 and everyone is invited.
At 3:30 p.m. officials from Kobernick Anchin and Sarasota Memorial will cut the ceremonial ribbon signifying the grand opening of the Sarasota Memorial Anticoagulation Clinic at Kobernick Anchin. This outpatient medical specialty clinic, on the grounds of this retirement community, will be open to the general public. Staffed by Sarasota Memorial, it will help patients safely manage their anticoagulation medications, such as Warfarin sodium, Coumadin, and Jantoven, and increase the amount of time their blood tests (INR) remain in the appropriate range. Normally, patients who are on anticoagulant medication must travel to see a physician weekly to have their blood drawn and results are not immediate. Now, many community members will find it easier and less stressful to go to the clinic at Kobernick Anchin instead.
The ribbon and ceremonial scissors will be provided by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, and confirmed special guests include County Commissioner Carolyn Mason and representatives from Florida Representative Ray Pilon and U.S. Congressman Vern Buchanan.
Following the ribbon cutting, everyone is welcome to tour the entire Kobernick Anchin campus and enjoy an International Wine and Cheese Festival. There will be giveaways for the first 300 attendees and a free drawing for some special prizes. Free valet parking will be provided.
Don’t miss out on the fun. Kobernick Anchin is at 1951 N. Honore Avenue, Sarasota. Telephone number is (941) 377-0781.
