MBEConnect and OfficeMax Collaborate to Highlight Diverse Business Owners
OfficeMax is the first company to collaborate with MBEConnect to create an issue of MBEConnect Profiles magazine exclusively devoted to a single corporate supplier diversity program and its diverse vendors.
Overland Park, KS, October 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- MBEConnect and OfficeMax have formed a business collaboration through the interactive publication MBEConnect Profiles. The two companies have formed a partnership to release a groundbreaking publication that highlights the many components of a major corporate supplier diversity program, as well as the diverse vendors that participate in the program. The OfficeMax Special Edition of MBEConnect Profiles magazine project is the first of its kind.
Regular issues of MBEConnect Profiles magazine are released quarterly and feature a variety of minority- and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) from across the country. The OfficeMax Special Edition of MBEConnect Profiles magazine exclusively features profiles of M/WBEs that serve as suppliers and vendors to OfficeMax. The original content is also focused solely on the OfficeMax supplier diversity program. The OfficeMax Special Edition of MBEConnect Profiles magazine features several articles about the supplier diversity program itself, including team member biographies, events and vendor success stories. Interactive multimedia components, such as web links, video, audio clips and collateral materials are used throughout the digital version of the magazine.
This collaboration demonstrates the great pride OfficeMax takes in its diverse suppliers and vendors, and they work to form strong and lasting business relationships with these businesses. OfficeMax has worked over the years to develop itself as a unique and innovative brand, and this first-of-its-kind collaboration exemplifies this notion.
The OfficeMax Special Edition of MBEConnect Profiles magazine will be available online and as free a smartphone and iPad application. A limited number of print copies will also be available. All versions of the magazine will be released at the end of October.
