Medical Development Group’s Entrepreneurial Special Interest Group (SIG) Announces Nov 29 “UnConference!”
Their “unConference” will provide an open, informal atmosphere to raise questions and proposed solutions for medical technology entrepreneurs facing the challenges of finances, regulatory issues, IP and more. Waltham, MA, October 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Medical Development Group’s Entrepreneurial Special Interest Group (SIG) announces its first-ever “UnConference!” to be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2001 at the Foley Hoag Emerging Enterprise Center in Waltham, MA.
According to Marty Sklar, MDG Co-Founder and Entrepreneurial SIG Chair, "The purpose of this program is for early-stage medical device entrepreneurs to come together to discuss common challenges in getting their organizations to the next level." Sklar goes on to say "Our 'unConference' will provide an open, informal atmosphere to raise questions and proposed solutions for medical technology entrepreneurs facing the challenges of finances, regulatory issues, IP and more. Kickstart your idea into that new company or find a way to overcome those barriers that are holding you back."
This educational evening will feature a keynote by Foley Hoag attorney and editor of Venture Perspectives, David Pierson, on current trends in early-stage financing. The program will have three concurrent, pre-planned topic sessions followed by three more concurrent sessions with topics of mutual interest chosen by the audience at the unConference. All sessions will be moderated by domain experts and they are inviting domain experts to participate in the sessions as well. A light dinner will be served.
