Kings & Paupers to Headline Menswear Day at Vancouver Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012
Kings & Paupers to debut their first denim collection during the opening of Vancouver Fashion Week's Menswear Show.
Vancouver, Canada, November 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) is anything but blue with the addition of the new premium men’s denim collection, Kings & Paupers. Vancouver is one of only two cities where Kings & Paupers will be stocked and distributed, and VFW will be introducing this exclusive line on November 2nd, 2011, to launch its Menswear Show, which includes a surprise finale.
Uniquely designed, each piece is "made for one, but fit for all." The brand’s individuality and versatility will be illustrated at the VFW VIP Opening Gala on November 1st, 2011 when Kings & Paupers outfits the gala host Andy Chu, President and CEO of Arc 2 Intertainment, and Creator/Executive Producer of FMA.
About Kings & Paupers:
This premiere signature collection focuses intensely on the creative process behind its denim, and every pair reflects the high quality workmanship. The fabrics are generated precisely for Kings & Paupers by Japanese artists using traditional handlooms and crafted in limited supply. Its spectrum of indigo shades offers a fresh contemporary approach for Spring 2012 that combines a classic look with superior styling and fit. They include the authentic signature of each artist responsible for the detailing, affixed to the interior front pocket. With an already well-received men’s line, Kings & Paupers plans to launch a women’s denim collection next spring.
About Vancouver Fashion Week:
Founded by producer Jamal Abdourahman, Vancouver Fashion Week has been worldwide renowned since its launch in 2001. Taking place bi-annually during spring and fall, the week focuses on celebrating both local and international designers, and emerging talent. VFW has grown to showcase fashion designers from around the globe, and international media coverage including Le Monde, The Guardian, Elle Canada, Flare and Sina. 2010 attendees included Hollywood stars, such as Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, as well as Canadian music giants Sam Roberts and Alanis Morrisette.
In April 2011, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson proclaimed VFW Vancouver’s official fashion week.
