Connecting to Create Social Change, NobleHour Launches in Closed Beta

Lakeland, FL, November 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- TreeTop Software Company has announced the closed-beta release of NobleHour.com, an online community that helps users connect and share with their world. NobleHour fosters civic engagement online by enabling users to contribute, communicate and track and measure impact made offline.

Specifically tailored for schools, non-profits, for-profits, civic groups and municipalities, the site allows organizations to create and control their own customizable communities, that individual users can join.

“Noblehour was developed as an alternative to current social communities that merely encourage the 'me' generation. In the hopes of acknowledging and developing the 'we' generation, our dynamic team of individuals has spent four years listening to the needs of an assortment of organizations who genuinely desire to count the 'good' that exists within all of us,” said Co-founder Scott Fore.

While in closed beta, all of NobleHour’s features will be free to a select group of schools and organizations. Beta users are encouraged to explore the platform and suggest additional features they would like to see implemented. During the closed-beta stage, NobleHour will operate a support desk that includes guides, tips, tricks, general support and webinars that will help beta testers get the most out of their NobleHour experience.

Following the closed-beta stage, NobleHour will enter open beta. The open beta period will finish at the end of 2011, when affordable pricing plans are implemented. NobleHour will always be free for organizations who want to post opportunities and for students and individuals who want to find opportunities and track their hours.

NobleHour expands upon the services offered by TreeTop Software’s prior release, a student-focused volunteer website called sweatmonkey.org. While SweatMonkey focused on youth and education, NobleHour speaks to the needs and wants of the entire civic-engagement community.

“Rather than be an also-ran, we have successfully created a first of its kind software that adds value to our everyday lives. Elegant in design, Noblehour will provide a platform which enables the user to safely and effectively measure their impact while working with others,” said Fore.

In the ever-changing web 2.0 world, NobleHour provides a safe and reliable place to connect and create social change. To learn more about NobleHour, please visit http://www.noblehour.com or contact Pia Simeoni at psimeoni@treetopllc.com.
