Renting out the Studio Spaces at The Thought Lot, 37 E. Garfield St. Shippensburg, PA, is an essential goal for Shippensburg based contemporary arts organization Post Now PA. In order for The Thought Lot, the groups 10,000 sq ft contemporary art center and incubator, to remain open the group must rent out all 17 studio spaces. To this end, Post Now PA is offering free admission to all events for anyone who refers someone to rent a studio.

Renting out the Studio Spaces at The Thought Lot is an essential goal for Shippensburg based contemporary arts organization Post Now PA. In order for The Thought Lot, the groups 10,000 sq ft contemporary art center and incubator, to remain open the group must rent out all 17 studio spaces. At which point The Thought Lot will be 100% self sustaining financially as the rent from studio spaces offsets rent on the facility. To that end, Post Now PA announces their latest initiative to find suitable studio renters, the “Studio Referral for Free Admission” campaign.
Post Now PA encourages its supporters and the community to bring The Thought Lot into the conversation while discussing opportunities for local artists, musicians, craft-persons and creative entrepreneurs. Studio spaces can be rented for $1 per sq/ft starting with a 10ft by 10ft for $100/month and up to a 20ft by 20ft for $400/month. Some of the current occupants include a painter, basket weaver, photographer, handmade jewelry artist, coffee roaster and print maker. Local businesses and organization are also encouraged to sponsor studio spaces to allow younger or less privileged individuals to have a dedicated studio space to pursue their craft. This is a great way to support art in the community and get great exposure for your business or organization.
