Earth Day Kicks Off ‘Raise Your Awareness’ Campaign
Smart Energy Enterprises is kick starting their ‘Raise Your Awareness’ campaign on Earth Day. In addition to events they are also sponsoring an online community forum for people to reconvene. The forum covers topic from Nuclear Power, 401(k)s, to same sex marriage. The difference? Unlike most forums, there is no agenda, no pressure to conform to a particular side; instead it is an inspiring attempt to create common ground.
San Francisco, CA, April 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- April 22nd will mark the beginning of a yearlong campaign to kick start our nation’s ability to engage in dialogue. All over the Bay Area, Smart Energy Enterprises will be encouraging people to “Raise Your Awareness,” by passing out free drinks in Golden Gate park, to participating in city beach clean-ups. After the day is over, the company will be continuing to throw ‘Raise Your Awareness’ events throughout the year, in addition to sponsoring an online community forum for people to reconvene. The forum covers topic from Nuclear Power, 401(k)s, to same sex marriage. The difference? Unlike most forums, there is no agenda, no pressure to conform to a particular side; instead it is an inspiring attempt to create common ground.
“The Raise Your Awareness philosophy encourages people to investigate the facts on both sides of an issue and think for themselves,” says Mark Michael Lewis, CEO of Smart Energy Enterprises. “As they like say, ‘we don’t tell you what to think, we just try to get you to!’ This forum promotes education, not indoctrination, questioning authority rather than submitting to it, mutual understanding rather than mutual condemnation. It is our way of contributing to global social change. We are proud to be supporting the Raise Your Awareness forum.”
The primary funding for the Raise Your Awareness website comes from the sale of Smart Energy Enterprises controversial energy drink called, Nuclear Waste Antidoteä. The drink, which is described as a new kind of “smart” energy drink, claims to add ingredients that enhance the positive effects of caffeine while virtually eliminating its negative side-effects. “Our drink is where philosophy meets the product,” continues Lewis, “We want to encourage everyone to Raise Their Awareness about all of the important issues of the day and we are willing to shake things up to make a difference. The more we understand the issues, and understand other people's perspectives, the more we can create constructive dialogue towards mutually agreeable solutions.”
