Vigor Ground Raising Money for American Kids Cancer Fund
Vigor Ground’s Luka Hocevar raising money for the American Kids Cancer Fund through their weekly charity boot camp.
Renton, WA, November 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Renton fitness expert and owner of Vigor Ground Fitness and Performance, Luka Hocevar, proudly announces that they will be raising money for the American Kids Cancer Fund through their weekly charity boot camp. The boot camp will be held this Saturday, November 5th.
“Nearly one out of 350 children in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they become an adult,” Hocevar says. “We want to do our part to contribute to this fund by raising money to help underprivileged families of children suffering with cancer, thus enabling parents to keep their focus on giving emotional support and encouragement to their children.”
American Kids Cancer Fund’s mission statement is this: “American Kids Cancer Fund was founded to create awareness and provide financial assistance to families in need, whose children have been diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing treatment. Our grants encompass certain essential principles: helping the underprivileged, child-centered, family-focused, and participatory. Our goal is to be and create a positive experience for the parents and children that we serve, making sure these families and their deserving children are valued, have a voice and are not forgotten.”
The charity boot camp will be held at 9 a.m. at Vigor Ground, located in Renton at 1222 Bronson Way North, Suite 250. For those that are unable to attend the boot camp but would still like to donate to the American Kids Cancer Fund, please visit http://www.americankidscancerfund.org/donations.html. The workout is open to everyone in the community and is suitable for all fitness levels.
