Blackburn Radio Launches FM News Network in London, Ontario

London, Canada, November 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Blackburn Radio is pleased to announce it has added another branch to its Southwestern Ontario news network.

The 98.1 Free FM news team is dedicated to covering the stories that matter to residents of the London, Ontario area.

Whether it’s the latest decision by London city council, or keeping people up to date on the latest weather conditions, the 98.1 Free FM news team will provide all the information their listeners depend on.

The 98.1 Free FM news team of News Director Scott Kitching, morning news anchor Lisa Brandt, and reporter/weekend anchor Avery Moore bring more than 40 years of experience to the table.

Listeners can depend on full packages of news, traffic, sports, and weather at the top and bottom of the hour during the morning show, as well as updates at 10:00am, 11:00am.

There are also full news packages at noon, 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00pm as well as updates at 4:30 and 5:30.

On Saturdays and Sundays, 98.1 Free FM is the only commercial radio station in London to offer live and local news in the afternoon.
