2011 Golden Brad Awards Announces Bianca Biagioni's Screenplay "Bocce Games" as a Top Finalist

Los Angeles, CA, November 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bianca Biagioni with her debut screenplay "Bocce Games" has secured a spot as a top finalist in yet another contest this month, the 2011 Golden Brad Awards. Her screenplay recently advanced into the third round with the fourth and final round announcement to be made in just 2 days, November 5, 2011.
With having been picked as a finalist in the very prestigious 10th Annual Filmmakers International Screenwriting Awards (winners will be announced December 15th, having been nominated as a top ten finalist in La Femme International Film Festival, and now a top contender in this year's Golden Brad Awards, Bianca Biagioni shows great promise as one of Hollywood's up-and-coming screenwriters to watch out for.
"Bocce Games," part one of a trilogy, follows the story of Frankie and Julia as they try to balance true love while growing up in a violent and perilous world of the Italian Mafia. The romance between Frankie and Julia leaps off the page and sets this piece apart from other mafia films. The family dynamic is rich, dangerous and loving in its own way and allows the seductive world of Italy to shine. Themes of independence, family, loss of innocence, and love permeate the script and create a most fulfilling experience.
Bianca Biagioni moved to Los Angeles six years ago where she has since worn many hats in the entertainment field. She assistant directed on the short film "Grasshopper" starring James Franco and Rachel Miner as well as on the feature film "The Switch" starring Ethan Phillips, Jude Ciccolella, and James Morrison, set to be released next near. After wrapping "The Switch", she moved into ABC studios and started her own production company Eternal Productions with her mother and partner Aby Elena Tortelli. After producing an indie horror film called "Rock Point" starring Sonia Rockwell and then production being put on hold because of actor/director availability reasons, Bianca decided to shift her focus to the development side and began screenwriting. Currently, Bianca continues to write screenplays, DJ (BIA BIA), and produce music with an EP set to be released this winter.
Now in it's in it's 5th year of operation, Movie Script Contest: The Golden Brad Awards is becoming one of the leading screenwriting contests in the world.
