Writing In Style Founder Shows Gratitude and Gives Back
Annual Greeting Cards Custom Designed by Celebrity Artist Tara Dixon and New Daily Writing Tips
Paradise Valley, AZ, November 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- November has arrived and as we rush headlong into the holidays, thoughts of handwritten cards, seasonal greetings, festive Yule tidings and family newsletters come to mind. In tallying her inventory of 2011 memories, a common theme became apparent for Cindy Zimmermann, the founder of Writing In Style and Self-Appointed Advocate of the Handwritten Note; Gratitude. “When I look back over the past year, there are so many things for which I am grateful…” declares the unassuming advocate of all things handwritten, “I’ve met so many wonderful people who share the love of handwritten notes this year during my numerous tours, road-trips, salon series and even locally. I wanted to give something back.”
Each year Cindy sends out between 500-1,000 holiday cards to friends, associates, acquaintances and contacts. Holiday greetings are part and parcel to her mission. Keeping with this year’s theme of gratitude, Ms. Zimmermann collaborated with renowned artist Tara Dixon to design a custom Gratitude Card specifically for the Writing In Style brand. Ms. Dixon is a Brooklyn, NY based painter, artist and creator of the “Gratitude Designs by Tara Dixon” line of artwork and associated products, of which 5% of all sales are donated to the Flawless Foundation, an organization that supports children with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. The “Gratitude Designs by Tara Dixon” line is available at the exclusive Zero Plus Minus at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, CA and online at http://writinginstyle.com/store/gratitude-cards/.
Wanting to give back something of her own, Ms. Zimmermann announces the launch of the new daily writing tips and affirmations on WritingInStyle.com. “Many people struggle with holiday card wording, Christmas card etiquette, thank you letters or what to write in a note, so I created the SMS text program as a way to keep the handwritten word top-of-mind. It may seem ironic to send free daily handwriting tips in 160 characters or less, but it meets the needs of today’s busy lifestyle while honoring the rich culture of the handwritten note,” confided Ms. Zimmerman.
