New Blended Learning Programs Now Available from American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI)
ASHI is pleased to announce the new G2010 blended learning versions of its core training programs. Blended learning delivers emergency care training by combining online lessons with hands-on, instructor-led skills practice and evaluations.
Eugene, OR, November 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Newly released ASHI blended learning programs include Basic First Aid, CPR and AED, CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer, and CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training. These comprehensive, easy-to-learn programs are compliant with the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other nationally recognized guidelines and standards.
“Blended learning is an ideal solution for both corporate and entrepreneurial training centers,” explains Steve Barnett, Vice President of Brand Management, Emergency Care. “With blended learning, employees required to hold certification in emergency care can complete the online portion of their program at their convenience from any computer and be away from their work areas for only the skills evaluation session. For our entrepreneurs, blended learning provides an opportunity to increase their revenue through assessing skills for more students in same amount of time it takes to complete a traditional classroom-style program offering.”
The ASHI blended learning programs are supported by a proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) designed to provide a robust, easy-to-use interactive experience for both students and instructors.
Authorized ASHI training centers can purchase blended learning credits through their Training Center Manager online portal at hsi.com.
