Join The Chef’s Academy for Holiday Themed Community Classes
Culinary Institute Invites Community to Attend Thanksgiving-Oriented Cooking Classes
Raleigh, NC, November 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, invites community members to join its culinary masterminds for Thanksgiving-oriented cooking classes. The Chef’s Academy is hosting two different classes for community members who are looking to spice up their holiday plates at its Morrisville campus located at 2001 Carrington Mill Blvd. Attendees will assist in preparing the food and take home their completed dishes.
The “Quick Cooking Turkey” class will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Chef Rusty Nicholas will share his expertise with a Thanksgiving preview featuring a Cajun deep fried turkey, split herb roasted turkey and all of the fixings.
The “Easy as Pie” class will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Chef Sherry Stolfo will use her master cooking techniques to help participants perfect their pie making skills. Class attendees will learn the secret to a flaky crust, and how to make a pecan and chocolate peanut butter pie.
