Hilary E. Ford Named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year in the Healthcare Industry
Uniondale, NY, April 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Hilary E. Ford, staff nurse of The Ann Storck Center has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year in the healthcare industry. While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who’s Who selection committee hand picks these special Who’s Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Ford has been working at The Ann Storck Center for 5 years. In this capacity, she tends to the needs of children and adults in South Florida who present severe and multiple developmental disabilities including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism, and mental retardation. Ford previously worked as a home health nurse for 10 years and has 2 years of experience in hospice care, orthopedics, and drawing blood. The Ann Storck Center is a is a nationally accredited, highly acclaimed non-profit human service organization.
Ford received her licensed practical nurse diploma in 1990. She is a basic life support instructor and certified phlebotomist. Ford is a strong believer in giving to the community and donates to several organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and local fire departments. She is a member of Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church, and volunteered in Broward schools for three years.
