Baltimore, MD, November 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Award Winning Ravens24x7.com is expanding their brand and unique approach to covering the NFL to all NFL cities. Listen to what some have said about Ravens24x7.com:
· “It’s their almost disturbing obsession with every aspect of the Baltimore Ravens (down to the atomic level) that sets Ravens24x7.com head and shoulders above the other sites.” - Baltimore Magazine
· “I can’t speak highly enough about the content Ravens24x7.com provides.” - NFL Network Insider Jason La Canfora
· “Ravens24x7’s passion for Baltimore football is contagious. Check out Ravens24x7.com daily. You’ll learn something about your team every time.” - Eric DeCosta, Director of Personnel, Baltimore Ravens
· “I just wanted you to know that I enjoy your website! I am amazed at the detail you provide.” - Sage Steele, ESPN
All 32 teams will be presented under the umbrella and web portal of Profootball24x7.com (still in development) but can now be viewed here: http://www.profootball24x7.com/.
The managing company 24x7 Network, LLC plans to use Ravens24x7.com as the model, combining professional journalists with intelligent fan bloggers, fan pictures, video and message boards and more. Navigation for all sites will be nearly the same (save some unique characteristics of each site) so that fans visiting another team’s site will know how to find what they want in a very timely fashion.
24x7 Network’s founder Tony Lombardi explains it this way:
“We realize that today’s world is very fast and people need to access information quickly and easily. 24x7 was built with that in mind. We bring in the best content from around the web via RSS, provide original and passionate fan driven content along with tailgating photos, videos and fun and we place it in one location. And our sites will be mobile for smart phone users and that complements our fan zone phone apps (for Android & iPhone) very nicely. If you bleed for your team, 24x7 is where you’ll want to be.”
Profootball24x7.com is currently seeking contributors – aspiring journalists, fan bloggers and videographers who want to expand their reach. Some can even earn a stake in their city’s 24x7.
Lombardi adds, “Think of the college student who wants to pursue a career in sports journalism but he or she is disheartened by what is happening with the newspaper business. Not only is it rapidly shrinking but now many of the newspapers’ websites are charging for content that used to be free. Our model is growing and it is completely free! Plus it’s very worthy of consideration by those students or even the parents of those students who have spent large sums of money to send their kids to school only to embark on an industry with dwindling career opportunities. We can provide those opportunities.”
