Accedian Networks Grows with the Addition of Vice President of Sales
Montreal, Canada, April 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Accedian Networks Inc., a leading provider of Ethernet Demarcation Devices, today announced that it has added Lou Metoyer as Vice President of Sales to the management team.
Lou Metoyer joins Accedian Networks to direct the company’s sales strategy and efforts. With over 23 years experience in the field of high tech sales, organizational development, executive account management, business development and senior management, Metoyer's responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of sales activities within the company.
Prior to joining Accedian Networks, Metoyer was the first US employee of EXFO, a recognized test and measurement expert in the global telecommunications industry. As Director of US Sales/Global Focus Account for the Telecom Division, which represents EXFO’s main business activity, Metoyer managed the sales of fully integrated and complete test solutions to network service providers (NSPs), cable TV operators and telecom system vendors. This was one of many positions Metoyer held at EXFO from Regional Sales Manager to Director of Operations and National Sales Manager. He created sales and marketing programs resulting in consistent year-to-year growth and participated in several acquisitions.
Metoyer began his carrier at Sumitomo Electric, a manufacture of fiber optic cable, as a Project Field Engineer where he installed one of the longest US OPGW cable route. Metoyer brings extensive experience in building and managing sales teams, sales channels, and complex technology sales. He has also successfully executed large account management, executive level relationship development, and new market development planning. He has a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern State University and has completed MBA course work at Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas.
