NorthWest Direct Marketing Joins Jobs4America Coalition
Beaverton, OR, November 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- NorthWest Direct Marketing has joined the Jobs4america coalition, it was announced by Jeffrey Milberg, Vice President Sales.
The company has made a commitment of adding 200 jobs in the Beaverton, OR and Dyersville, IA contact centers, as well as work at home agents over the next two years.
Jobs4america is a group of small and large businesses who are working to create a combined 100,000 U.S. Contact Center jobs over the next two years. With millions of Americans looking for work and the availability of new broadband-enabled technologies, the contact center market continues to offer a source of employment. “We are excited and proud to be part of this effort,” said Milberg.
Northwest Direct Marketing joins the coalition which is aimed to change a trend that has occurred in the U.S. over the past decade. Companies have increasingly sent customer service jobs abroad. According to CNN, businesses have saved money by using cheap labor in foreign countries, but many companies have found an increase in complaints with their customer service programs.
There are approximately five million Americans working In Contact Centers in over 50,000 locations across the country. Many experts expect this business sector to continue to grow over the next ten years. The jobs4america coalition will be an important contribution to the growth.
