Employees from Web Design, SEO Company Turn The Page Go Calories Over Clicks for Employee Wellness

Online Marketing team races to the top for client’s 5K run

Independence, MO, November 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- A successful business professional goes to great lengths to support clients. Dedicated associates know the importance of showing client commitment from buying tables at fundraising dinners to participating in charity golf tournaments. Turn The Page Online Marketing in Kansas City realized the unique opportunity to support a personal training client while also promoting employee wellness. The SEO company formed a team to run in the Bodies Personal Training-sponsored 5K and finished as one of the top teams to complete the race.

“We’re known as geeks and computer nerds, and sit behind our computers all day. Running the 5K wasn’t only a great way to support our clients, but it also got our employees moving and promoted wellness,” said Rob Rance, managing partner of Turn The Page. “It’s an added bonus that we killed it, and ended up coming in as one of the top finishing teams.”

Going to Great Lengths to Support Clients
Landing health-focused clients for Turn The Page hasn’t only boosted business, but employee health, too. Web development partner Amy Driver took on a challenge to train with personal training clients after having her third child. Other team members have produced YouTube videos and written blog posts after using client’s exercise equipment or receiving flu shots. The team is committed to exceeding clients’ expectations and not only marketing their products, but becoming first-hand advocates for them, too.

“Because of my background in playing soccer, our client at myosource.com wanted me to use the resistance bands and make a YouTube video. It was one of the hardest workouts of my life, I was sore for days, but it was well worth it,” said Lindy Swatzell, coach at Turn The Page Online Marketing.

Promoting Employee Wellness
In a growing fast-food, web-based economy, employee health is becoming even more of a priority. Websites and blogs offer tips on wellness by the hour. Rising health care costs, as well as occurrence of disease, is an indicator for employers that employee wellness is top priority.

“We know a healthy employee is a productive employee,” said Amy Driver, managing partner at Turn The Page. “We’re always looking for ways to promote health while helping our client achieve results.”
