The Woods Charter School Foundation was established in 2007 with a focus on fundraising to bridge the gap between inadequate state and federal funding and the cost of providing a quality education and securing the long-term financial stability of Woods Charter School. The primary focus of the Foundation is to support the educational pursuits of students through programming, facility enhancements, and supplemental faculty resources. Since 2007, the Foundation has raised nearly $500,000, used to outfit Woods Charter School with such items as items such as a school-wide security system, lockers, computers, white boards, complete setup for science labs, and start-up items for our very first kindergarten classes. Realizing that Woods Charter School and its families benefit from participation in the greater community, the Foundation also endeavors to provide opportunities to enrich the quality of life in the region surrounding our school.
