The Fallen Stars - Alt. Country Rock Band on Tour This December Through AZ, NM, TX & NV
Award winning Americana Rock band The Fallen Stars are setting out on the road to support their third album "Heart Like Mine," featuring sixteen tracks of Americana rock n' roll in the mold of Bruce Springsteen, The Pretenders, Wilco and Whiskeytown.
Huntington Beach, CA, November 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Following in the tradition of Kerouac, Don Quixote and the Donner Party - The Fallen Stars are hitting the road. "We can't stay home and hope for new fans to find us," says Bobbo Byrnes, singer/guitarist and de facto leader of the band. "We're going out to make our fans the old fashioned way - one at a time." The Americana Rock band from southern California will be sure to stay away from windmills and obscure mountain passes during their 10 day tour across the southwest.

"It's time to take it to the streets," keyboardist/mandolin player Geoff Geib announced in an unintended Doobie Brothers reference. Drummer Gary O'Yeah exclaimed; "I've got my passport and I'm ready to go!" as singer/bass player Tracy Byrnes reminded him that we were not in fact leaving the country.
In the last few years The Fallen Stars have collected some great awards and accolades including winning the Orange County Music Award for "Best Country/Americana Band" and "Best Live Acoustic Band" and the SoCal Live Music Award for "Best Live Rock Band" and "Best Live Acoustic Band." They were also nominated for the OCMA "Album of the Year" and "Song of the Year," SoCal Live Music "Best Male Artist" and Los Angeles Music Awards "Hot Adult Contemporary Band." (No one in the band seems to know what “Hot Adult Contemporary” means.)
The entire Fallen Stars catalog can be purchased through iTunes, CDBaby or the band's website thefallenstars.com. They will also have it with them as they weave through Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Nevada.
