The Year of Barkers is Back! Win Free Organic Dog Treats for a Year from The Barkers Dozen
Online contest returns to thank customers for another successful year in business.
Chicopee, MA, November 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- To celebrate a second successful year in business, The Barkers Dozen, a baker of homemade, organic pet treats, today launched “The Year of Barkers” online contest to award one lucky pooch and their owner a year of free organic dog treats provided by The Barkers Dozen.
“We are so grateful to all of our loyal customers who have made The Barkers Dozen’s second year in business a monumental success,” Shawn Sherry, president/CEO and founder of The Barkers Dozen. “What better way to say ‘thank you’ than to give our customers a chance at winning a years-worth of our delicious, homemade dog treats for free, for one year.”
To enter The Year of Barkers Contest, dog owners and lovers are encouraged to visit http://www.thebarkersdozen.com/contest.html, and enter their name and e-mail address into the form. Entries will be accepted until Dec. 31, 2011, with one winning entry chosen at random in January 2011. The winner will be announced via email.
To increase their chances of winning, entrants can share the contest with friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter via buttons on the contest entry page. Each “like” and “tweet” will earn the entrant one additional contest entry.
In addition, to get even more chances at winning, pet owners may also submit their furry friend to become a Barkers Buddy on The Barkers Dozen Web site. To do so, e-mail a brief bio and picture of your pet to barkersbuddies@thebarkersdozen.com, using the email submitted in the contest entry form.
The grand prize consists of a one year’s supply of The Barkers Dozen Treats, totaling 12 ½-pound boxes, which will be mailed to the winner’s address each month. For complete contest rules, visit http://www.thebarkersdozen.com, or email info@thebarkersdozen.com.
The Year of Barkers contest began in 2010 to mark the company’s first year in business. The winner of last year’s contest, Charlene Vaughn and her three pups, of Reelsville, Ind., received an assortment of freshly baked treats in the mail each month. “As soon as I open the box each month, their tails start to wag and they do their ‘happy dance,’ which includes, spinning, prancing around and whining noises,” she said.
To learn more about The Barkers Dozen’s organic dog treats – all of which are made from organic, human-grade ingredients - dog owners (and tech savvy pooches) can visit the dog treat company’s virtual bakery at www.thebarkersdozen.com.
