Access-to-MySQL v5.3 Supports MS Access Queries

Microsoft Access queries are implemented as named SQL statements stored in the system (hidden) table. Although SQL is a standardized language that is designed to work with any database application that understands SQL, MS Access has some custom functions that are missing in SQL standard. That's why Access-to-MySQL does not simply copy queries from MS Access database to MySQL. Instead, it parses SQL statement of every MS Access query and replace most of specific MS Access functions and predicates with MySQL equivalent.
