Whitefish Credit Union Welcomes Jane Peters to Kalispell Branch
Montana's largest credit union welcomes its newest vice president and branch manager.
Whitefish, MT, November 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Whitefish Credit Union (WCU), Montana’s largest credit union, has named Jane Peters the new vice president and branch manager of its Kalispell branch.
Peters has been with WCU for 16 years, serving most recently as a supervisor in the Whitefish office.
“I absolutely love my job," said the Kalispell native. “I’ve worked in the Kalispell Branch before and feel honored to have been given the opportunity to return. I look forward to taking my career to another level and creating relationships along the way.”
Peters will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the integrity of the Kalispell branch, and also ensuring it adheres to federally mandated credit union regulations. That won’t be a problem for her, according to Taylor Horst, senior vice president and chief lending officer for Whitefish Credit Union.
“After an extensive interview process Jane proved herself, without a doubt, to be the best candidate for the position,” said Taylor. “Her skill set and philosophies made her the right choice. WCU strives to promote from within, and when we find the qualities necessary for the position in a current WCU employee, senior management encourages and supports their success. Jane is an outgoing person with a strong desire to learn and is very interested in self- development. She also has a skill for developing positive and productive team members.”
Peters has been a resident of Montana her entire life. She was born in Havre and moved to Kalispell at a young age. In her spare time she enjoys snowmobiling, camping, traveling and spending time with her husband and children.
