Chef Chris Locher is New Consultant Executive Chef at The Oasis Paco Park Hotel
Chef Chris Locher, the renowned Chef of C’ Italian Dining, joins the The Oasis Paco Park Hotel culinary team as Consultant Executive Chef for the Barramundi Grill and Restaurant.
Manila, Philippines, November 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Contemporary Mediterranean cuisine dining at The Oasis Paco Park Hotel, Manila’s original boutique hotel. Chef Chris Locher, the renowned Chef of C’ Italian Dining, joins the hotel’s team as Consultant Executive Chef for the Barramundi Grill and Restaurant.
“We will bring a true cuisine du marche’ dining experience ensuring that the Oasis will be the place in Manila for fabulous evening dining and fantastic lunches,” stated Chef Chris.
The Barramundi Grill is the main dining area and restaurant for the Oasis Paco Park Hotel. Named after Australia’s famous freshwater fish, The Barramundi Grill features an open kitchen and wine barrel tasting area that showcases premium wines from predominantly new world regions. The restaurant promises an international selection of dishes and a contemporary Mediterranean dining experience.
Whilst Chef Chris’s famous “panizza” will also be on the menu; he emphasized that the menu will reflect a whole new direction but at the same time remaining true to his European roots and total dedication to quality.
About Chris Locher
Chef Chris Locher, regarded as one of the best European chefs in the Philippines, was born and raised in Switzerland with an Italian heritage. Chef Chris started his culinary career at the Grand Quellenhof in Bad Ragaz in the early 80s.
After working his way through the ranks and kitchens of fine dining restaurants in Switzerland, Chef Chris arrived in the Philippines in 1993 to work with the Plaza Catering Company working at Asian Development Bank. He then moved to the renowned Yats International Restaurant in Clark, Pampanga.
In 2004 Chef Chris started working at a small 24 seat restaurant in Angeles, Pampanga by the name of “C”. The restaurant today has grown to 300 seating capacity dining destination known as C' Italian Dining celebrating classic and contemporary Italian cuisine that has been named Best Restaurant by the Philippine Tattler.
