Doctors Express Expands Medical Care Options in the Capitol Area
Edgewater, MD, November 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Doctors Express, the first ever national urgent care franchise, has awarded a territory to a local husband-and-wife business team that plans to greatly enhance medical care in the in the Chesapeake Bay area. The Doctors Express center on Solomons Island Road across from Lee Airport will service the Edgewater/Annapolis area and nearby Anne Arundel County communities.
Rick and Ginni Morani, bring a solid background of running successful businesses and have been awarded the rights to develop and open the fourth Doctors Express center to be located in Maryland. The Moranis and their medical director, Dr. Rinde Fadirepo, will establish a high-quality, state-of-the art, walk-in medical center that is comfortable, convenient and affordable for patients.

The Doctors Express walk-in medical center differs from other medical centers by offering a consistent, broad range of treatment and services with an average wait time of only 15-20 minutes. Experienced physicians will diagnose and treat illnesses, dispense medication and have the capabilities to x-ray and set broken bones. The center will also include an on-site lab that will give quick test results for ailments such as mono and strep throat.
As part of a national franchise, the local Doctors Express will share best practices across all centers and leverage its size to keep prices lower for local consumers.
A Baltimore-area physician, Dr. Fadirepo is a highly credentialed and Board Certified doctor who will deliver affordable, efficient, non-emergency medical treatment. He has teamed up with Doctors Express franchisees Rick and Ginni Morani to assist them in managing the business. Dr. Fadirepo will treat patients and oversee the day-to-day medical operations of the center.
Currently, there are 38 Doctors Express centers up and running throughout the country. A total of 113 franchises have been awarded in 23 states, and 56 will be operating by the end of the year.
