Local Company to Speak in Chicago About Physician Jobs, Social Media

Okemos, MI, November 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Leapdoctor.com, a physician job search engine run out of Okemos, Michigan, is going to be represented in Chicago, Illinois this Friday at the Illinois Staff Physician Recruiter Members Only Retreat. The company will be represented by President & CEO, Ronit Tyagi, along with Founder, Ashok Tyagi. They will be sponsoring lunch for the retreat and will also be hosting a short presentation for the members, in which they will discuss the best techniques for finding good-quality physician leads. Their presentation will have an emphasis on using social media for recruiting, as well.

Held at the Chicago Westin River North Hotel, the event is for ISPR Members Only and will be great exposure for the growing company. Their presentation discusses the inspiration for the idea behind leapdoctor.com, how and why it works, and the role that social media plays in their marketing strategy. They will be sharing advice on how to save money during the recruitment process, and passing along their own techniques to hire satisfied, hard-working physicians.

The Okemos-based company has had a busy month, arriving back from Vermont less than a week ago, where they attended the Northeast Physician Recruiter Association 2011 Fall Educational Forum, and just a week before that they were in Orlando, Florida for the American Osteopathic Association’s Annual Research Conference. Attending these events have proven to be beneficial for the company, as more and more physicians and healthcare employers continue to sign up on the website.

The company has recently expanded their social media portfolio as well, as they have created a Google+ business page. On this social platform they have been engaging with others in the healthcare industry, as well as advertising open job positions that have been posted on their website.
