About Patrick Eardley

Patrick Eardley is the Director of Information Technology at Barclays Capital. Barclays Capital, a global investment bank with offices in over 29 countries, provides finance and risk management services to large companies, institutions and governments. Mr. Eardley has been with Barclays since 2005. He has established the Global Software Development Centre, including the initial process definition, pilot and deployment. In addition, Mr. Barclay established a Software Testing organization of over 250 manual and automation test experts. His responsibilities include management of the ITIL based Application Management Support team staff of 200+ as well as management of Indian outsource suppliers. He specializes in building and running offshore software development centers that deliver productive teams, data analysis and structured thinking. Mr. Eardley was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He achieved a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. In his free time he enjoys scuba diving.
