Tim Wright and AB Johnson – joined by long term affiliate Toastie Taylor - present their compelling brand of anti-pop. Viewer's live sound is powerful and accessible, combining AB’s acerbic social commentary with Tim’s vintage synth driven music and real-time visuals.
AB Johnson – the writer, singer and lyricist has fronted a number of bands since the mid 1990s and played extensively throughout the UK. Johnson delivers kinetic live performances, snarling with a voice "reminiscent of Lou Reed’s junkie punk drawl" [Here Magazine].
Tim Wright has been releasing his inimitable brand of electronic music since the early 1990s. He has attracted the support of some of the key labels in the field with releases on Mute, Tresor, Soul Jazz and PIAS among others. He has remixed artists as diverse as Nancy Elizabeth, Laurent Garnier and Goldfrapp.
Toastie Taylor – part of the seminal bristish hip hop band New Flesh, Toastie spits lyrics in his own inimitable style mixing dancehall, soca, grime and infectious rap. He has collaborated with artists such as Roots Manuva, Evil Nine and DJ Vadim and now fronts the band Soundwaves and Escapades.
