Author Liggy Webb’s New Book "Thank You" is Launched in Style

The "Thank You" book launch took place on the 19th November 2011 in Cheltenham to celebrate the recent publication of Liggy's latest book.

Cheltenham, United Kingdom, November 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Over 200 people attended the black tie event at Pittville Pump Rooms, including the Mayor of Cheltenham, Barbara Driver. Organisers held a raffle for a selection of prizes and the money raised was donated to The Mayor’s Charities (The National Star College, St Vincent's and St George's and Cheltenham YMCA). During this social event guests were entertained with a live band, dancing and a pianist plus a speech from the author herself.

The new book aims to help readers to be happier, healthier and more positive in life. The theory is that people have the opportunity to make themselves happier because it is something that lies within their power. Although it is not always possible to control what happens, it is possible to choose the way we react to things. Liggy writes that there are so many ways to appreciate our lives even in the most challenging times. She has the philosophy that in every difficult situation lies an opportunity.

From the author of The Happy Handbook & How to Work Wonders, Liggy Webb's latest book with Grosvenor House Publishing aims to motivate and inspire readers to look at their life from a totally different perspective. It is filled with practical tips, recent research, anecdotal stories, inspirational quotes and a gratitude journal to give readers information to work to appreciate life and improve their happiness levels.
