About the featured choreographer
Irene began her dance training in American Social Ballroom Dancing in Montreal, where she taught and competed in the American Social Ballroom style of Dance. Later, she decided to expand her dance knowledge by studying the 10 dance styles of English International style of Ballroom Dancing. She also earned her Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals in both styles of dance from Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). She started line dancing in 1994, promptly joined the CWDI (Canadian Western Dance International Society) and started teaching a year later. In 2001, she started choreographing dances and received numerous awards in the choreography competitions held by the CWDI (Vancouver Vibrations) in Surrey and at the annual Hot Tamales Event in West Vancouver. Currently, Groundwater teaches at seven locations throughout Vancouver. She adds flair and passion to all she does and would like the whole world to take dancing lessons.

LineLessons.com allows the user to rent lessons that are tailored to a variety of levels, from beginner on up to expert. Students can rent one or more dances, including a “7-set” which features 30 minutes of dances that comprise a complete cardio workout.
