Jason Rosarius is the 2011 Points Champion at New Smyrna Speedway

Orlando, FL, November 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Jason Rosarius, in the number 18 Fairwinds Chevrolet, is the 2011 Points Champion at New Smyrna Speedway.

Jason raced the number 18 Fairwinds Chevrolet in the 46th Annual Florida Governor’s Cup Race Friday night. He came in third place in the race and finished first in points for the 2011 season. What a great way finish his FASCAR Pro-Truck season. Way to go Jason.

When speaking of his first place win, Jason gave credit to his team, sponsors and fans. He said, “I couldn’t have done this without the support of my team and my sponsors; Fairwinds Credit Union, Palm Tree Computer Systems, Platinum Signs and American Classics Auto Paint. I am grateful to each and every one of them, and to my fans who are always there rooting for me.”

Jason started racing cars in Junior Stocks at the local tracks when he was twelve years old. He was the first place champion of Junior Stock Car Racing. In 2010 he was Rookie of the Year in FASCAR at Orlando Speedword and placed 7th in the World Series. He finished second place in FASCAR 2011 at Orlando Speedworld and first place in FASCAR 2011 at New Smyrna Speedway.

In June, 2012 Jason will begin racing in the NASCAR K&N series. The Rosarius Racing Team is excitedly looking forward to Jason’s first NASCAR race.
