Independent record label and publisher, Crater Rock Music, LLC, has released a music video for the Theory of Mind® song “Alien in My Shoes” from the recently released international debut CD, “Enter the Misfit.”
Hampton, VA, April 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Virginia-based independent record label, Crater Rock Music, LLC has released a music video for the song “Alien in My Shoes” from the album entitled “Enter the Misfit,” the long awaited debut CD from Theory of Mind. “Enter the Misfit” is currently being sold and distributed through CDBaby.com, Apple iTunes, mp3-Extension, and many other digital download sites worldwide. A percentage of CD and download sales will go towards the Autism Treatment Center of America's™ Son-Rise Program.

Alien in My Shoes, the sixth song on Theory of Mind's debut CD, Enter the Misfit, is a short film that depicts the feelings of alienation experienced by autistic people who try to conform to social standards, but find it difficult to “fit in.” It also explores some of the history of the author, Tony Belcastro, who composed, recorded, mixed and mastered the music, as well as filmed and edited the video.

About Theory of Mind
Theory of Mind is the trade name used for the musical endeavors of Tony Belcastro, a high-functioning autistic savant. Tony is an experienced and talented composer and musician that has played music for over 30 years and has been a recording artist for over 20 years. He plays piano, guitar, bass, percussion and a variety of other instruments in an assortment of genres including blues, jazz, rock and classical.
About “Enter the Misfit”
“Enter the Misfit,” which took almost two years to complete, combines several musical genres into an instrumental symphonic rock, or progressive fantasy rock category, blending a multitude of lead guitar voices with jazzy rhythms, orchestral string sections and melodic keyboard lines. Almost everyone who has heard the CD has remarked that the music is very visual in nature, much like a movie soundtrack and at least one track is already being integrated into an upcoming documentary film.
According to Crater Rock Music, LLC, “Enter the Misfit” is an example of what can be accomplished by someone whose focus is so intense that while engaged in the creative process, nothing else seems to exist in the world around him. Not only did Tony do all of the composing, performing and recording, he also did the mixing and mastering, as well as the artwork for the CD; demonstrating highly specialized skills without any previous formal training.

Crater Rock Music, LLC was formed by Yvonne Smith, after encountering Tony Belcastro's artistic abilities, to give him an opportunity to have the experience of bringing a complex artistic project, like “Enter the Misfit” to completion.

The discouragement he had from earlier failed attempts to do something substantial with his talents was heartbreaking.
