St Helens, United Kingdom, November 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Supporting Kids through Early Intervention

This Christmas Hattons Solicitors are looking to spread a bit of festive cheer to St Helens children.

The Early Intervention Service appeals to the public every year to donate gifts for children and teenagers in St Helens, giving them out in the week before Christmas.

Due to the success of joining with the Christmas Appeal last year, Hattons have decided to support it again for the second year.

Senior Partner at Hattons Solicitors, Bruce Hatton commented, “I have always made it a priority for Hattons to get involved in community projects and events. When I heard about the Christmas Gift Appeal I knew that we needed to help, as far too many children in our local area do not have the happy home life we often take for granted.”

“All our staff are involved in this appeal, but the reason we are backing this appeal publicly is to raise awareness with the general public to encourage them to donate and make a difference too.”

Councillor Eric Smith, Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Learning Services at St Helens Council says, "It is very sad that while most people look forward to the festive season with excitement and a sense of happy times to come, there are children in St Helens who have little or nothing to look forward to with the arrival of Santa actually very unlikely.”

“Hattons Solicitors support is greatly appreciated for this most worthy cause."
