More Than 505 Million Bowls Filled by Free Clicks and Holiday Shopping at the Animal Rescue Site
Seattle, WA, November 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Animal Rescue Site announced today that clicks and shopping have filled more than 505 million bowls for pets in shelters and sanctuaries.
The Animal Rescue Site’s “Click Here To Give” purple button provides a quick and easy way for people to support their favorite charity daily. It is free to participate in the program and no registration or purchase is required.
Visitors to The Animal Rescue Site can give more by shopping at the website store (www.TheAnimalRescuesite.com/store), with thousands of gift ideas for under $50. A portion of every purchase price is donated to The Animal Rescue Site’s charitable partners.
Since 2002, the “Click Here To Give” program has funded more than 439,931,367 bowls of food for rescued animals. E-commerce has paid for an additional 65,215,820 bowls of food.
The Animal Rescue Site’s latest charitable partner, Rescue Bank, also celebrated a milestone in November: 97 truckloads of food distributed to nearly 1,000 shelters in 27 states in the past six months.
