(AQE-TSXV), today applauded the initiative of Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Elizabeth Ames Jones to encourage the use of new technologies that recycle wastewater from shale gas drilling.
In light of the persistent drought conditions throughout Texas, the RRC’s efforts to streamline rule-making to advance the use of cutting-edge technologies like those pioneered by Fountain Quail is a welcome development for all affected parties.

While pointing out that “water is a precious resource, in times of plenty and in times of drought,” Jones declared “If we need to streamline our old rules and make amendments where necessary to encourage companies to expand their recycling activities, then that is what we will do.”
