Nominations for the designated charity are now being accepted through December 31, 2011. The idea for Buy A Shirt Help A Dog came to founder, Alan Montanarello one cold, snowy night when his dog, Boogle, was all snuggled and comfortable in his dog bed. “I looked at Boogle and wondered how many dogs had no home or shelter, no basic vet care, no food or water, and most importantly, no best friend,” said Montanarello. “That’s when I thought of a simple mission...helping dogs!”
